Alan
Astra's shows are unique,because in his shows Mr Punch is quite a
nice guy and doesn't beat everyone up.
The shows still have a traditional feel and are a riot of fun and
enjoyed by children and adults of all ages. Lots of
"He's
behind you"
and
"Oh no I
didn't"
"Oh yes
you DID!!!"
By popular demand Alan Astra will present Dickensian Punch & Judy shows for the 9th year in Whittlesea, outside of Santa's Grotto on a cold and frosty night in December (2007)
Punch and
Judy is a popular outdoor attraction which Alan Astra has
presented all over the country during the summer months, as well
as for Victorian Evenings in December!!! His shows are very
popular, for instance he was booked again (12th year) for St
Albans Carnival in 2004. Also booked for the 22st
consecutive year for The King's Lynn Festival
2007 where he will present 4 shows a day.
This year's dates are all Saturdays 30th June, 7th and 14th July
Alan became one of the first performers in England to perform Punch & Judy shows indoors at private parties and functions. He has had a purpose built booth which is slightly smaller than his outdoor theatre. This means that Punch and Judy can now be enjoyed all year round, instead of just during the summer months.
Please book early to avoid disappointment.
